The Eagle Point Radio Control Car Club ran a very successful 2025 Invitational event over the Australia Day Weekend.
The only club this side of Melbourne, Eagle Point catered for three different classes – nitro buggy, nitro truggy and electric buggy.
More than 30 enthusiasts travelled from all over Victoria for the biggest event of its kind ever staged in the region.
In the nitro buggy section Tom Gilbert was successful finishing ahead of Shannon Watts, James Marshall and Ryan Reynolds.
Tristan Todman was the winner of the electric buggy division, proving too slick for Shannon Watts, Marc Beatty and Andrew Liu.
The nitro truggy section was hotly contested, with Owen Magnus coming out on top of Llewyn Fry, Rickie Barnes and Antoni Jagielka.
The club is already planning for a bigger and better event next year.
