VIDEO – Respected Gunai Elder, Marjorie Thorpe, is contesting the Federal seat of Gippsland during the upcoming election.
A Lake Tyers resident, Ms Thorpe is representing the Australian Greens in attempting to wrest the seat from the current sitting member, Darren Chester, from the National Party.
Ms Thorpe says the environment will be a key issue in the election.
