The 2024/25 Summer Comp grand final of the Bairnsdale Eight Ball Association was played last week at the Bruthen Hotel.
In a close contest the Orbost Storm and Wy Yung Spartans went head-to-head in a thrilling finale, the Wy Yung Spartans eventually coming out champions 8-6.
The competition singles grand final was also played on the night between Pete Baldwin and Michael Schlitz, with Schlitz winning 2-0.
The association is appreciative of the hospitality on the night from Stretch and the crew from Bruthen Hotel.
Two master breaks (break and pot out) were had this season with John Lay and Gaz Micallef both presented trophies, as was Adam Cross (Wy Yung Spartans) for the most wins for the season (49).
