Local tennis player Luke Missen has enjoyed some great results at the 2025 Para Standing Tennis European Championships in Barcelona, Spain.
Missen has teamed up with Daniel Scrivano to win the doubles title.
Missen was delighted with the result.
“Daniel Scrivano is an incredible doubles partner and we had a fantastic run, I’m honoured to have won the title,” Missen said.
Missen also advanced through to the consolation final of singles, losing in a third set tie breaker to Yusuke Atano from Japan, 2-4, 4-0, 11-13.
Although he is on the other side of the world, Missen is grateful for all the support from back home.
“I want to thank everyone who followed along and supported me, it’s been an incredible journey,” Missen said.
The former Heyfield resident excels at many sports including golf, badminton and basketball.
