Stratford and Boisdale Briagolong played a thrilling match in round 10 of the East Gippsland netball, the Swans rallying late to win by two goals.
Played at Boyd Reserve in Stratford, the momentum in the match see-sawed, the lead changing numerous times, the Swans thankful to be in front when the final whistle sounded in a match that could have gone either way.
Despite the victory, Stratford dropped from second to third on the ladder, sitting just below second-placed Wy Yung by minimal percentage.
The Bombers are now four points further back in fourth spot.
Lucknow continued on its winning way, though the Magpies were surprisingly pushed by Lakes Entrance before triumphing 45-35.
Wy Yung was too slick at home for Lindenow, winners convincingly by 31 goals, 52-21.

Orbost Snowy Rovers outclassed Paynesville in the other match by 60 goals, 80-20.

In this week’s matches, the Bombers and Wy Yung will clash in the match of the round at the Cabbage Patch, victory vital for Boisdale if it is to keep the double chance dream alive.
Lakes Entrance is at home to a winless Paynesville, the Seagulls keen to build on their solitary season victory.
