The Australian Rowing Team capped off its World Rowing Cups series with a strong showing at the 2025 World Rowing Cup regatta in Lucerne.
The event saw 29 Australian athletes step onto the podium across six crews.
Lake Rotsee provided a dramatic stage with Australia’s Olympic, Paralympic and development crews delivering fast, fearless racing in their final international test before the World Championships in Shanghai in September.
Former Bairnsdale rower Paige Barr, who is now based in Melbourne, teamed up with Jaime Ford in the women’s pair, where they placed second in the “B” final.
Members of the Australian team, including Barr, are this week in England competing in the famous Henley Regatta on the River Thames.
Barr will row in an eight at Henley before heading back to Australia to prepare for the World Championships.
