Prodigious local boxing talents, Max Reeves and Blake Wells, are finalising their preparations in readiness for their bouts next Saturday night on former local boxer and ex-world champion Will Tomlinson’s Wildfighter promotions card at the Gippsland Regional Sports Club in Sale.
Tomlinson, the former IBO super featherweight world champion, is joining forces with the Wellington Shire’s ‘Middle of Everywhere’ campaign to host Wildfighter 8 and Gym Wars 4, in his first foray into boxing in Sale after hosting a successful event in Lucknow in November last year.
Tomlinson can’t wait to bring the action to Sale.
“It will be great to bring the all the lights, camera and action to Sale – hopefully one day we can bring a big title fight back,” Tomlinson said.
