After a short winter break, action returns to Tambo Valley Field and Game this weekend.
Following a successful annual general meeting in July, the newly elected committee is excited to kick off a fantastic year of clay target shooting.
The club is focused on growing participation and making every event fun and memorable.
Mark Leadoux was elected president, and he will be supported by Karl Hales (vice president) and secretary/treasurer Maddi Graske.
Peter Sandy is the publicity officer, with the general committee consisting of Andrew Jennings, Jake Goedhart, Ray Bracey, Sam Samuels, Jamie Davies, Kass O’Kelly, Jarrod O’Reilly, Stuart Simmonds, Jack Richardson, Tom Morgan and Troy Waddell.
This Sunday’s event is a five-stand sporting shoot, while on September 28, it will be the Swifts Creek versus Mornington event, a down-the-line 75 target spectacular.
Events will be held in October and November, with no shooting scheduled during the summer break in December or January, or during the winter break in April, May and June. All events are steel-shot only. The 2026 annual general meeting will be held on 26 July.
