A former Omeo resident has ridden more than 3000 kilometres to raise money for the Black Dog Institute.
Daniel Fitzgerald rode into Omeo on his pushbike on Saturday afternoon after having left the Western Australian town of Esperance 22 days earlier.
In all Mr Fitzgerald clocked up 3170 kilometres over the course of more than three weeks, with just four rest days.
Speaking with the Advertiser this week, 37-year-old Mr Fitzgerald said he wasn’t feeling tired at all.
“The body feels incredible,” he said.
“I did train for a few years to do this ride.”
