Mountain Bike East Gippsland recently hosted round one of the 2025 Joyride Rookie Cup.
The event saw more than 200 riders descend on Mount Taylor, absolutely lighting up the hill.
From first-time racers to rising stars, the talent was unreal, the vibes high, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.
This event is all about giving young riders a chance to shine and thanks to the incredible support from the community, that is exactly what happened.
Large crowds of spectators watched these future legends send it down the track, the action nothing short of spectacular.
Amongst winners were Sienna Vivash (under 11 women), Miles Vivash (under 11 men), Freddie Coote (under 13 men), Remy Young (under 15 women), Liam Steinlauf (under 15 men), Charlotte Montgomery (under 17 women) and Reegan Schafter (under 17 men).
Racing will return to Mount Taylor on October 4-5.
