The East Gippsland Farm Dog Group hosted the 2025 Victorian Utility Dog Championship at Albert Aprk in Goon Nure.
The star of the show was Mansfield trainer, Aoidh Doyle, whose dogs filled the first three places in the Championship.
Doyle’s “Cash” and “Snip” tied for the Championship on 89 points, with another pooch, “Sue” finishing third on 74 points.
Local, Andrew Whelan, provided the fourth and sixth placegetters, “Whelan Run Bessie” and “Whelan Run Burls”.
“Cash” was also the winner of the open event, while Leongatha handler, Ben Bowman prepared the winner of two events.
“Bowmans Ben” won the combined novice and maiden section, while “Bowmans Luna” was victorious in the maiden division.
