Car enthusiasts were to treated to the largest display of cool rides so far in the history of the event and it was good to see the many cars, trucks and bikes on display.

Club president Dean Herbert thanked all the car, truck and bike enthusiasts who participated in the event “without you it just wouldn’t be possible “.

The highlight of the event was the show and shine and what a display it was, winners of the sponsors choice are:

The proceeds from the Show and Shine resulted in a cheque of $2000 being presented to Melons Cottage from the show cars, truck and bike entries.

The Lakesters thanked the volunteer members from Mount Taylor Fire Brigade for giving up their Sunday to supply first aid for the event, with The Lakesters making a donation of $500 to the brigade to help with their activities.

The club also extended its gratitude to the ASRF, Aussie Septic Solutions, Signline, Riveria Joinery, Stothers Music and Hi Fi, Ray Stephenson Bairnsdale Main

Motel and Richard Hay for their continued support.

So that’s a wrap for 2025, with event management already looking at 2026.
