The Bairnsdale Rowing Club (BRC) mixed masters double scull crew, Ivan Knight and Louise Avery, came home with a silver medal from the recent Rowing ACT Daramalan/Black Mountain Rowing Club Regatta.
The regatta held on Saturday, December 3, on picturesque Lake Burley Griffin, saw the members of BRC pit their skills against some skilled rowers from across Australia.
Knight and Avery were joined in the mixed masters coxless quad scull by Carol McAuliffe and Gary McClelland.
A large contingent BRC members participated in the Carrum Regatta on Saturday, which was held at the National Water Sports Centre. A great day’s competition was enjoyed by all members, who competed in several events including singles, doubles and quads.
