Freemasons across East Gippsland have begun one of their favourite annual traditions — presenting end-of-year achievement and encouragement awards to students at local primary and secondary schools.
The busy awards schedule is already underway, with representatives attending several school events in recent weeks. At Nagle College, Jim Jolly attended the year 12 Valedictory celebration, while Ian Pearson represented the Freemasons at the year 11 assembly. Graham Barnett and Jim Jolly also visited the Wild Cherry School to present awards, and members were present at the Clifton Creek Primary School end-of-year concert.
The presentations recognise students who have demonstrated commitment, resilience and positive contributions to their school communities, continuing a long-standing partnership between Freemasons and East Gippsland schools.
