The Bairnsdale Bullets were among the standout performers at the Eltham/Dandenong long weekend tournament.
The Bullets entered seven teams, with an incredible six advancing to the semi finals. Every game was a nail-biter, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats with heart-stopping finishes throughout the weekend.
When the dust settled, the Bullets were crowned grand final champions in the under 16 boys, as well as the under 14 and under 16 girls divisions.
The under 12 girls played some excellent basketball but had to settle for runners-up.
Grand final MVP awards went to Haddie McLeod (under 14 girls), Claire Bryan (under 16 girls) and Max Taylor (under 16 boys).
Bullets officials said they were delighted and extremely proud of the players, coaches and supporters, noting the grit, teamwork and Bullets spirit on full display throughout the tournament.
The Bullets’ next tournament is in Warragul in two weeks’ time.
