Bairnsdale’s Main Hotel threw open its doors to patrons again over the weekend after abruptly closing three months ago.
The hotel was fully booked for lunch and dinner on Sunday with locals pleased the establishment was up and running once again.
New owners, Trent Wilson and Dylan Keegan, purchased the Main Hotel recently following the sudden passing of previous owner, Gene Palmer, in mid February.
Mr Wilson, from Paynesville, was managing the hotel during Mr Palmer’s ownership while Mr Keegan returns as the pub’s chef having previously worked there.
Mr Keegan will remain in the kitchen doing what he does best and will co-ordinate management of the hotel with Mr Wilson.
