by

in Local News

The inaugural Gippsland Lakes Boat Show is set to be a major drawcard for boating and lifestyle enthusiasts this weekend along the Paynesville Esplanade.

Set against the region’s iconic waterways, the event will showcase the best of the marine industry

alongside on–water displays, exhibitions and family-friendly activities. Organised by the Boating Industry Association of Victoria, the show aims to connect marine businesses with an engaged boating audience while celebrating the lifestyle, technology and innovation that define modern boating.

Visitors can explore a wide range of boats, equipment and services, with local and national exhibitors including Aczel Marine, AMI Sales, Gippsland RV & Marine, MY Marine, Whittley Boats, Aussie Boat Sales, and Garmin. Industry groups Women in Recreational Fishing and Boating (WIRFAB) and Better Boating Victoria will provide

education and advocacy resources, while major marine service providers will also be on hand.

The show runs alongside the Paynesville Classic Boat Rally and Raymond Island Car & Bike Show, creating a

festival atmosphere for visitors. On–water demonstrations, sea trials and expert advice will provide an

immersive experience for boat owners, prospective buyers, anglers and recreational water users alike.

With something for everyone, the Gippsland Lakes Boat Show promises to be a must–visit event for lovers of life on the water.
