Lindenow South Glenaladale Cricket Club recently held its 2025/26 presentation night, with Scott Davidson crowned club champion.
The award capped off a stellar season for Davidson, who also won the Cricketer of the Year for the third time.
Davidson also claimed the “A” grade bowling award, while young gun Logan Dunkley took out the batting award. In “B” grade, Rex Hellisen was successful in batting, Oliver Hellisen in bowling, and Archie Irish won the fielding award. Promising young cricketer Josh Pender received the most improved trophy in “B” grade, having a consistent season in both senior and junior cricket.
The club’s under-16 side had a successful campaign, though the weather denied them a semi-final clash against Lucknow. Award winners were Josh Pender (batting), Will Davidson (bowling), Mason Irish (most catches), William Lane (best first-year player), Oliver Hellisen (most improved), Jack White (coaches award) and Hayden Roy (future star).
In the under-13s, Casey Roy took out both batting and most catches, Charlie Irish won bowling, Jacko Stewart was most improved, Eli Greening received the coaches award, and Mason Pender
was runner-up in both batting and bowling. Popular clubman Peter Smith was named the Bluus Best Clubman for the 2025/2026 season.
It was another successful year for the club, despite falling to Wy Yung in the “A” grade grand final in their quest for back-to-back glory.
