Eagle Point resident Kate Brown, has been working to fight the cause against human trafficking and online sexual abuse of children for more than 10 years.
Working in international development as a program manager for Captivating International, she has helped establish a number of projects in the Philippines to address these issues.
Recently, a high-profile legal case in Philippines saw the conviction of another Australian man involved in online exploitation of children.
“This is an issue that affects us and is worth fighting for, especially for these innocent children,” Kate said.
