The annual Ashley Park ram sale will take place next Wednesday, with the vendor offering up their best progeny for auction.
Ashley Park principal, Ian Kyle is excited for what might happen, but is cautious given the current state of both the sheep and beef markets.
The Kyle family will offer up 50 Poll Dorset, 40 White Suffolk and 15 Southdown rams for auction, while also having 25 Border Leicester rams available on site for inspection and private sale.
“These are top of the drops, our best rams, born and bred on farm, paddock reared, not spoilt, what you see is what you get,” Mr Kyle said.
Ashley Park is hoping that although markets aren’t strong at present, buyers will stick to their programs and be keen to purchase quality rams.
