A club spokesperson thanked all those involved in making the event a success, from volunteers through to players and supporters who contributed to the atmosphere and smooth running of the day.

Stratford claimed the top honour, with team members Jim Prout, Des Phillips, Gordon Keddie and Mick Benson taking out the win.

BOWLS: Third was Lindenow’s A. Pincott, Nigel Plunkett, Simon Alleaume, and
Stephen Brill. (PS)

Runners-up were Stratford/Sale, with Gail McKenzie, Joy Nowak, Anne Renehan and June Richardson finishing second after a strong performance throughout the tournament.
