Lindenow South Glenaladale went on its winning way in round three of the Bairnsdale Cricket Association, humbling Lucknow on Saturday at the Hudson Alvin Oval.
The unbeaten Bulls sit a game clear on top of the ladder, four points clear of a group of sides on two wins, that include Meerlieu, West Bairnsdale and St Mary’s Nagle.
Sent in by Lucknow captain/coach Jarryd Floyd, the Bulls amassed an impressive 6/210 from their 40 overs.
The total was set up by two significant partnership, Scott Dare (34) and Zac O’Keefe putting on 64 for the first wicket, before Seth Smith (54 from 66 balls) and Haydn Erfurth (50 from 51) put together a four wicket stand of 114 at close to a run a ball.
Dare, Erfuth and Smith all launched the ball over the ropes on multiple occasions.
Magpies youngster, Taj Corben, was the pick of the bowlers for his side, taking 3/41 from his eight overs.
