East Gippsland’s largest masterplanned over-50s lifestyle community, Lincoln Lifestyle Eagle Point, has unveiled plans for a multi-million-dollar wellness and recreation precinct overlooking
Lake King.
The elevated site, which enjoys sweeping lake views, will deliver a 1250-square-metre precinct complete with an exclusive clubhouse for residents, alongside a wellness centre, sports pavilion and open greenspace.
Lincoln Place chief executive officer Paul Yeo said the amenities will form the heart of the $130 million gated community and become a natural extension of residents’ homes.
“The wellness centre will support active living and includes a heated indoor pool, gym, sauna, and yoga studio that will enable residents to focus on their health and relaxation year-round,” Mr Yeo said.
“They will also have access to a bowls green, pickleball court, and walking tracks. The design of the new clubhouse makes the most of the panoramic lake views and includes a cinema, library, games room, community kitchen, bar, residents’ lounge, and alfresco dining areas.
“It’s going to be a very social space that residents will want to share with friends and family. Social connection is designed into every element, and the result will be exceptional.”
Mr Yeo said construction on the first homes was well underway, with the first residents expected to move in as early as December 2026. Works on the clubhouse and wellness centre are scheduled to commence in October.
Lincoln Lifestyle Eagle Point will deliver 203 contemporary two and three-bedroom homes over the next five years alongside secure boat and RV storage. Located between Bairnsdale and Paynesville, the development sits in close proximity to Lake King, the Mitchell River, the East Gippsland Rail Trail, and the Bairnsdale Golf Club.
With nearly two in three Eagle Point residents aged 50 and over, prices for brand-new, two-bedroom single-level homes start from $545,000.
Mr Yeo said the community will be delivered under a land lease model, offering financial advantages for downsizers. Under the model, buyers own their home outright with no stamp duty, council rates, body corporate fees, or exit fees, paying only standard utilities and a weekly site rental fee.
