Local legend, wildlife rescuer and snake catcher, Lorna King, celebrated her 80th birthday last weekend.
Lorna gathered for a big lunch at the Grand Terminus Hotel in Bairnsdale last Saturday where more than 30 guests attended, showering her with love, flowers, cards and gifts.
An amazing ‘bush wildlife’ cake (adorned with a beautifully modelled snake, kangaroos, koala and wombats) topped-off the celebration for a wonderful woman who has made a huge contribution to the East Gippsland community over many years.
