Judith Ramsdell has every reason to smile after being awarded a certificate of appreciation and recognition at the recent 2023 Victorian Senior of the Year awards.
Ms Ramsdell was recognised for her tireless work in the community, which has involved volunteering at the Paynesville Lions Club, Bairnsdale Salvation Army, Paynesville Coast Guard and Maddocks Gardens.
She also volunteers her time to run a gardening program with students at Lucknow Primary School.
Ms Ramsdell said she’s loved every bit of it.
“I just love helping people, it’s good to help people,” she said.
“When I received the award, I had tears in my eyes, I didn’t expect it.”
