In 2016 Christiane Philip of Culinaire Cooking School published a cookbook titled Nazeema’s Kerala Kitchen.
This book was entered in the World Cookbook Awards. It received two national awards and the world award as the best cookbook of Indian and Siri Lankan cooking.
Christiane has now completed and published Harvest East Gippsland, comprising 365 pages and 120 recipes, lavishly illustrated by local artist, Gary Yellen.
It is a comprehensive source of information on all food and beverage growers, makers, brewers, distillers, restaurants, cafes and pubs throughout East Gippsland.
The recipes use appropriate regional produce. They accompany the entry for each producer.
The official launch of this book will be at Metung Farmers Market this Saturday, February 10.
