The Victorian Masters Squash Association (VMSA) is excited to return to Bairnsdale for another major squash event this weekend (February 16-18).
The teams event will be hosted by the Bairnsdale Squash and Racquetball Association at its magnificent facility at Lucknow.
Masters squash is open to female players 30 years and over and males 35 years and over.
VMSA president Lou Morsch said the return to Bairnsdale was well overdue given the success of the tournament back in post COVID 2021.
“It’s great to back in Bairnsdale with the support of the East Gippsland Shire Council, who along with a number of local sponsors are supporting the event,” Morsch said.
East Gippsland Shire Council mayor, Cr Tom Crook, also welcomed the return of the event.
“Council is proud to support this event, as it promotes active and healthy lifestyles and gives our region an economic boost,” Cr Crook said.
The event is expected to attract players from Melbourne and regional areas of Victoria and interstate.
