Robert Hughes is a familiar face for many in Bairnsdale as he has a long history working as a physiotherapist in the local hospital and his own practice in Bairnsdale and Sale.
After taking some time off with family he’s excited to be joining the McMillan Chiropractic team, expanding the practice’s allied health service to further support the health and wellness of patients and community.
So given his recent move back to the area the Bairnsdale Advertiser wanted to ask a few questions:
You’ve spent many years caring for the community as a physiotherapist, what are you passionate about?
– Improving people’s quality of life by reducing pain and supporting them to get back to usual activity and enjoy an active lifestyle.
Do you specialise in any areas?
– Musculoskeletal physiotherapy, which focuses on the muscles and joints to support better movement and function.
What is it about the McMillan team that made them a good fit for your return to clinical practice?
– The McMillan Chiropractic ethos around health, performance and wellbeing are aligned with my clinical approach and thinking. And the team are all wonderful people I genuinely look forward to working with.
What do you love about living in Gippsland?
– I’ve lived here since I was eight years old and it’s a long list of reasons. I think this is the best place to live; the lakes, boating fishing. So many recreational lifestyle activities.
Robert will be seeing patients at McMillan Chiropractic Bairnsdale from Monday 4th March. To make a booking call 5152 2621 or at https://mcmillanchiro.com.au
