Plans are well underway for a Bairnsdale first – The “Anything Is Possible” Ball.
A very special presentation ball for people over 18 years of age and with special abilities, often labelled disabilities, is planned for October 2024.
Specific individually adapted dance lessons to ensue inclusion will occur in the eight weeks leading up to the actual presentation ball on October 18.
Expressions of interest can be sent via email to anythingispossible@gmail.com with the first meeting of interested participants to be held at 3.30pm on Monday, March 18, at the Interchange Gippsland building located in the Eastwood Village Shopping Centre.
This is a wonderful opportunity for often marginalised members of the community to shine.
The organisers are thrilled the Bairnsdale RSL has declared its support for this community initiative and has already committed to providing the venue for the ball.
