The Rotary Club of Mitchell River, Bairnsdale, is hosting the first East Gippsland Makers’ Festival at the Bairnsdale Racecourse on March 30, Easter Saturday.
The festival will bring together artisans and makers to showcase their skills, offer demonstrations and to provide opportunities to purchase their wares.
Applications for a site or to demonstrate can be found on the Rotary Club of Mitchell River’s website.
Live music and free entertainment for children will run throughout the day along with a range of demonstrations featuring lantern making, upholstery, cider making, sewing, spinning and lots more. Great food will also be available to purchase.
Gates will open at 9am and the festival will run until 4.30pm. Tickets are available through Humanitix or at the gate.
Funds raised from the festival will go towards the Bairnsdale Neighbourhood House Rebuild Project.
