The Salatini family, in cooperation with the Lions Club of Bairnsdale, last Christmas presented a magnificent display at their home on the Paynesville Road, Bairnsdale.
This huge display included lights and animated figures and was a free event with a gold coin donation which was presented to the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).
The Salatinis thanked Bill and Belinda, Assist ‘A’ Lift Bairnsdale, Paul Morrel, East Gippsland Scrap Metal Recycling and Bargain Centre, VicRoads and Tim Bull.
“We are so grateful to the Salatini family and the Bairnsdale Lions Club for their wonderful contribution of $3000 to RDA Bairnsdale,” RDA president, Julie Coster, said.
“We will use this money wisely to provide for our clients and our beautiful horses.”
The primary objective of Riding for the Disabled Association is to provide most people with a disability, the opportunity to ride and enjoy all activities connected with horse riding. Horse riding is a unique form of exercise and rehabilitation.
