At the recent Paynesville Probus Club annual general meeting, a new committee was elected to run the Paynesville Probus Club for the 2024/2025 year.
The club has been fortunate the retiring committee has steered the club through some turbulent times and the membership has increased (now boasting more than 80 members).
Past president Lyn Coulter was congratulated by incoming president Bill Buckle, who has stepped up from the vice president’s position.
The new vice president is Sue Brown.
All positions for the new committee were filled, a sign that members are willing to help ensure the future of the club.
Other highlights of the meeting were the presentation of a life member badge to Julie Wylie, and presentation to Janet Cooke for her 30 years of continuous service in Probus.
Paynesville Probus is looking forward to another year of friendship and activities.
