The Bairnsdale Netball Association (BNA) under 15 blue team took out the premiership at the annual Traralgon Tournament last Sunday.

The BNA was represented by a large contingent of eight teams, achieving some outstanding results on the court while off court everything ran smoothly with assistance from some great parents.

The under 15 blue team, coached by Katelyn Wheeler, had an outstanding day, finishing unbeaten and comfortably winning the premiership, while the under 15 red side continues to show great improvement and is starting to gel as a team, making it through to the semi finals.

Both under 13 sides made it through to the semi finals, the blue side side unlucky to lose, going down by a single goal after playing some high level netball. The red team scored some great wins throughout the day.

In the under 11s, the blue team finished fifth scoring some good wins, while the red team finished second, suffering only one loss (no finals).

The next tournament is in Melbourne in two weeks and will incorporate an overnight stay.

The under 15 Red side had a successful Traralgon tournament making the semi finals. The side was coached by Mel Dalton and was made up of players Cassidy Blundell, Charlotte Walkley, Chelsea Niller, Elise Sabell, Hannah Smith, Jemma Gibbons, Laura Blackshaw, Matilda Elliott and Tanka Krambehr. (PS)
