Gippsland Geckos and Paynesville Bowling Club junior, Ayla Romanin, has been selected to trial for a spot in the Victorian under 18 squad.
It’s fantastic news and great reward for Romanin’s commitment to bowls, which has been seen her again successful on the green.
At the recent Gippsland Bowls Region (GBR) under 18 championships at the Bairnsdale Bowls Club again, she was successful in the pairs with Sylah Coull-Barnes and runner- up in the singles to fellow Paynesville junior, Lacey Kiss.
The Geckos also posted some great results at the recent Victorian under 18 state championships, Romanin, teaming with the Kiss sisters, Ella and Lacy to make it through to the semi finals of the triples.
