Hallmark Integrated Health has been supporting Trey Baxter in the launch of his new Indigenous clothing range, “Da Mob 3875”.
The clothing line will be launching online and at local markets in the East Gippsland region on Sunday, May 26, 2024, where Trey will be opening his first stall at Bairnsdale’s Howitt Park Market.
Trey is a proud Gunaikurnai and Yorta Yorta Aboriginal man from Bairnsdale in Victoria, and is the son of Uncle Albert Baxter.
Trey has been working hard on producing and creating merchandise with a message and encouraging people to wear their values on their clothing, and loves bringing awareness and encouraging all young First Nations People with a disability to chase their dreams.
Trey is proof there is nothing that people with Down Syndrome can not do, constantly breaking barriers and shattering stereotypes.
Treys’ clothing designs incorporate his totem animals and symbols representing his culture, lands, and his family, coming in a wide range of colours and sizes.
Trey, along with his occupational therapist, Kerrie Thomsen and team of allied health professionals West, Tom, Mistee, Belinda, Taniesha, Matt, Kiera and his father have guided Trey every step of the way with his new microbusiness.
The goals of the microbusiness have been co-created by Trey and Kerrie over three years leading to endless opportunities going forward for Trey.
Trey is committed and wants to succeed in his new business venture.
Hallmark Integrated Health has a key focus of doing, being and becoming.
With this venture Trey’s occupational therapist has reminded everyone to do each and every step with the participant never for the participant until this becomes the habit.
