In the early hours of Saturday morning at around 1.30am two local people were hit in the eyes while in a car by a laser in the vicinity of the Bairnsdale Golf Club as they were travelling towards Paynesville.
The driver reported the incident to the police as well as the Advertiser.
Bairnsdale police have other reports of such dangerous incidents.
