Located between the Colquhoun Forest and North Arm, just 10 kilometres from Lakes Entrance, Wyanga Park Winery is a well worth seeking out by boat or car.
First established in 1970, this family-owned winery is nestled in a lovely, elevated bush setting, and offers a relaxed tasting of its wide range of distinctive, award-winning, estate-grown wines, including chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, riesling, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir and Gewurztraminer.
A delightful café/restaurant at the winery serves excellent Devonshire tea and coffee, as well as delicious tasting platters, which can be enjoyed inside, or out on the café’s sunny balconies.
The café is open for lunch seven days a week and the menu includes such items as the popular homemade bread, local seafood chowder, curries and more, and offers an exciting Mexican-inspired dinner menu on Friday and Saturday nights.
You can also purchase take-home house-made jams, sauces, greeting card and gift packs, as well as paintings by the winery’s resident artist.
The winery has its own jetty, so if you have a boat, you can tie up there, or get there and back on a commercial cruise from Lakes Entrance aboard the Storm Bird.
A small number of grassy, unpowered sites are available at no charge, for fully self-contained RVs, camper trailers and caravans.
