Two guest speakers were welcomed to the last Metung Bloodhounds meeting held on Monday, December 4, at the Metung Yacht Club.
Bloodhounds president, Mel Griffiths, was very pleased to present a cheque to the value of $3300 to Heath Tomasini of the Bairnsdale Regional Health Service’s pain clinic for the purchase of much needed new equipment, a recumbent bike and an elliptical machine.
Mr Tomasini spoke at length about the extensive treatments used at the Pain Clinic and was very grateful for the Metung Bloodhounds donation.
The other guest speaker was Alan Lancaster, assistant community liaison officer of Metung CFA.
Mr Lancaster reported on the progress of fund raising for the future depot to be built on the land on the corner of Hardys Road and Metung Road, purchased using community donations.
