The June meeting of Bairnsdale and District Diabetes Support Group will be held on Tuesday, June 18, at 1pm in the Rivers Room at the Bairnsdale RSL.
Guest speaker for the meeting will be Tom Forster, pharmacist with the Advantage Pharmacy in Bairnsdale.
He will provide updated information on medications and changes in benefits and requirements in relation to diabetes medications and equipment and can advise on how medicines are to be taken or used most safely and effectively.
He can also provide advice on non-prescription medicine.
There will be the opportunity for members to discuss their medications, particular circumstances, and to ask questions.
People with, or interest in, diabetes are most welcome to attend.
