Golf East Gippsland this week finalised their teams for the 2024 Country Week of Golf to be played in South West District.
The event will start on Monday, September 30 and culminate on Wednesday, October 2.
The men’s team will be made up of Noah Patterson (Bairnsdale), Kody McCormick (Bairnsdale), Ashley Bayliss (Bairnsdale), Cooper Rimington (Maffra), Alf Jessup (Newry), John Simic (Sale), Carl Turner (Sale) and Stuart Yeates (Lakes Entrance).
The ladies’ side consists of Joanne Ballinger (Sale), Robyn Walker (Newry), Tania Holmes (South Pines), Nadine Martin (Bairnsdale), Sue Wood (Bairnsdale), Celia Wallace (South Pines), Fiona Gray (Bairnsdale), Christine Fisher (Bairnsdale) and Lucy Haussegger (South Pines).
The event is played in divisions, with teams contesting a match play round robin against the other teams in their division.
Matches will be hosted by The Sands, Anglesea, Curlewis, 13th Beach, Clifton Springs, Portarlington and Queenscliff Golf Clubs.
