Nicholson Angling Club held round 10 of its yearly tournament schedule last weekend, with 89 bream caught, entered and then released.
Some impressive results were recorded, with all fish measured to the fork.
The longest bream was won by Wayne Stanton, with a 42 centimetre species with the female section going to the consistent, Nikki Bryant, with a 37.5 centimetre fish.
Suzanne Chapman was successful in the longest string of five, her catch an impressive 177 centimetres.
The longest bream on lure was caught by Mitchell Blomquist (41.5cm), while the longest catch in the surf was Philip O’Kelly’s 38cm Australian salmon.
The junior bream prizes went to Riley Whelan (under 16) with an impressive 41.5cm species, while Hudson Kurrle landed a 36cm fish in the under 12 division.
Raymon Cooper won the longest different species with a 65cm flathead.
Secret length prizes went to Scott Scicluna, Brad Nolan, Danielle Fraser and Michael Jones.
