The next meeting of the Bairnsdale and District Diabetes Support Group will be at the Bairnsdale RSL on Tuesday, October 15, at 1pm in the Rivers Room.
The guest speaker will be John Child, a retired automotive teacher/driving instructor, who will provide information on areas such as:
– Your responsibility when driving
– Legal requirements
– Insurance implications
– Types of licence
– Driving strategies
– Common sense driving and self-assessment.
There will be ample opportunity to ask questions
and discuss problems. Information leaflets will also be available.
The group offers support and information for persons with diabetes, pre-diabetes and their family and friends, in a warm and friendly environment.
Light refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the meeting, and people with, or interested in, diabetes are most welcome to attend.
