The recent wet weather forecast didn’t deter campers from enjoying some quality time out at Echo Bend Campground.
“Everyone gets so engrossed with working and we all need that balance of me time or family time,” camp park owner Julie Webb said.
“Without going too far you can enjoy your own space or invite some good friends to join you.
“Christian and Claire Sims didn’t have to travel far, coming from Lindenow where they have a tyre business.
“Joining them was another busy couple, Jason and Honey Gillick from Gillicks Bus Lines.
“As they both had their own caravans it didn’t matter too much with the weather, however it seemed the campground missed the hail storm which surrounding areas received.
“The campground is in a slightly protected gully, so a lot of the bad weather seems to go around it. We do have accommodation too, On-site caravans for hire, which can take the little hassle out of towing your van away. Yes, you can bring your pets, have a fire, enjoy some short walks or simply do nothing.”
