May the Fourth Be Faireday.
In 2025 the Stratford Shakespeare Festival Medieval Faire and Market Day will fall on Sunday, May 4.
Organisers are leaning into this auspicious date and celebrating the Dark Side of Shakespeare with a Faire Day full of costumes, cosplay, crafting and culinary delights.
Every year the town is transformed into a traditional Village Faire Day with arts and crafts, food stalls, fresh produce, the Pop Up Shakesbeer Bar and two live music stages.
Entry is free to the public.
The event is a major fundraiser for many local community groups. The festival committee is currently looking for stall holders to join in this brilliant opportunity for local businesses and individuals to have their products displayed and get involved in an excellent community festival.
