The Children’s Week Expo and Family Fun Day, held at the Bairnsdale Squash and Table Tennis Centre on Friday, October 25, was a resounding success.
Hosted by Uniting Bairnsdale, the expo had something for everyone, with Wacky Wombat, jumping castles, face painting, sports clinics and carpet bowls keeping every member of the family entertained.
There was even a special visit from Bairnsdale Fire Brigade, Bluey and Peppa Pig.
Children’s Week is a national celebration that recognises the talents, skills, achievements and rights of children.
The theme of this year’s Children’s Week was “Children have the right to a clean and safe environment.”
