The team at Banksia Fine foods has been busy preparing its pop-up Christmas shop and hamper range.

Banksia Fine Foods’ Christmas pop-up shop is located at 155 Nicholson Street, Bairnsdale, behind the Brew Crew Café, and is open Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm.

All hampers are made locally by supported employees using quality Banksia Fine Food products.

“This year the standard hamper range is made with 100 per cent Banksia Fine Foods products which contain no cheap, tacky imported fillers,” Jodie Wood, Gippsland Food Enterprise Sales and Operations Supervisor, said.

“Banksia Fine Foods Social Enterprise has come along way this year, being nominated as a finalist for the 2024 Gippsland Business Awards, developing new products and partnering with another social enterprise that designs and makes their labels for their preserves.

“Customers are raving about the quality of this year’s hampers saying they are 100 per cent better than last year’s hampers.

“Customers will be pleasantly surprised at the cost of the hampers this year ranging from $20 for the mini hamper to the deluxe hamper for $120.

“With the current cost of living crisis it was important we kept our prices at a reasonable amount without sacrificing quality.

“By supporting Banksia Fine Foods you are providing meaningful Employment for people living with Disabilities and helping with training and confidence building.”

The range of hampers vary in size and have been described as 100 per cent better than previous years.
