Alongside the alpacas will be products, including the very popular alpaca throws and Australian made Humphrey Law alpaca socks and alpaca fleece. Alpaca fleece has come a long way since the first importation of alpacas this century. For those interested in owning alpacas and/or creating with alpaca fleece the Absolutely Everything Alpaca workshops are taking place in April, May and June at different locations in the Victorian Eastern Region of the Australian Alpaca Association. Merungle Alpaca Stud is nestled north of Maffra, and have more than 100 animals on their farm, and initially began as a 40-acre block, before growing to 200 acres.
