The Bombers have taken all before them accounting for all sides, including their grand final opponent, Lakes Entrance, who they have overpowered by 15 and 24 goals in their two meetings this season. The Seagulls, who finished third on ladder, have impressed in recent weeks, knocking off Wy Yung and Lucknow to secure a spot in the big dance. However, they do appear to have their work cut out this week. The two top sides all season in "C" grade will clash in the grand final - Wy Yung and Lucknow. Lucknow has taken all three meetings this season, saluting by six, one and three goals. The margins aren't huge and the Tigers will be looking to get off to a good start, make the running and challenge the Magpies to run them down. Expect a close encounter with plenty of grand final pressure, with the result a toss of the coin. Wy Yung and Boisdale Briagolong have dominated the "D" grade competition all the season, the Bombers going through the home and away season unbeaten, before succumbing to the Tigers in the qualifying final by two goals. That followed the Bombers being victorious by nine and four goals in the home and away season. It's another line ball game, the Bombers hoping to bounce back, play with more focus and intent, while the Tigers will looking to continue the momentum which is clearly going their way. Lakes Entrance is the side to beat in the under 17s. The Seagulls have only dropped the one game for the season and will be looking for their 14th win on the trot. Wy Yung, who finished fourth on the ladder, have impressed in the past fortnight, defeating Lucknow and Boisdale Briagolong, and will go in full of confidence. Against the Tigers is the fact in three matches against the Seagulls this season they have been beaten by two, 10 and nine goals. Minor premier Lindenow will take on giant killer Paynesville in the under 15 finale. The Cats suffered their only loss to Stratford in round three and have looked invincible since. The Gulls have been impressive in the finals but they will need to improve considerably to reverse the 24 and 28-goal maulings at the hands of the Cats in the home and away games. Lakes Entrance will be looking to claim a massive upset against Boisdale Braigolong to win the “B” grade premiership. 143 Main Street, Bairnsdale Vic 3875 e: tim.bull@parliament.vic.gov.au p: 03 5152 3491 Good luck to all football and netball teams competing in the finals TIM BULL State Member for Gippsland East EN25309 LAWN MOWING FIREWOOD & Large and small lawns | M: 0407 335 642 EN25351 Wishing the best of luck to all our teams!
