Managing director of Tathra Beach Eco Camp, Carmen Risby, said the new cabins are close to the children’s discovery playground and nature water-play area – making them an “ideal choice for young families looking for spacious accommodation and some added luxury”. “Features of the new cabins include a separate master bedroom with a super comfy, beautifully styled, oversized master bed,” Carmen said. “There are also single and double bunk beds to accommodate an additional four guests in their own separate bedroom.” Wow factor The cabins also feature a resort-style stone bathroom, with a large double shower, instilling a real “wow factor”. “There’s also a separate powder room, bringing a new level of comfort and luxury to Tathra Beach Eco Camp,” Carmen said. “We’ve made it easy for our long-stay guests, with the addition of an internal laundry and clothes line.” Fully-appointed The new Black Cockatoo Cabins also come complete with a full galley kitchen, including a range of sustainable state-of-the-art appliances, slide-out family pantry, waste-sorting station, and cupboards filled with “enough crockery and cooking utensils to have your own private dinner party”. “These cabins blend with the outdoors and include a huge, elevated, undercover deck, and wide, glass stacker doors, perfect for that relaxing experience in nature,” Carmen explained. “They also have the added convenience of an outdoor rain shower, making beach-day sandy-toe wash-offs super easy!” Carmen said that in addition to these comforts, the new cabins will be further upgraded with the ambience of an indoor eco fireplace, just in time for winter.
