SAPPHIRE COAST - SUMMER 2024 - BERMAGUI 25 Hot line-up of summer shows in store at Four Winds Four Winds has an exciting line-up of live music shows scheduled for summer. An arts and concert venue with a difference – set among lush natural bushland at the serene coastal paradise of Barragga Bay, less than 10 minutes from Bermagui – Four Winds has a 2,000-person capacity outdoor performance amphitheatre called the Sound Shell (used for larger scale festivals and events), as well as an “acoustically pure” 180-seat indoor-concert venue known as the Windsong Pavilion. Diverse line-up Specialising in music experiences surrounded by nature, the Four Winds summer program will include classic performances, First Nations voices, young emerging musicians and powerful multidisciplinary storytelling. According to Madison Phillips from Four Winds, this summer will feature a diverse line-up of performances at both the Sound Shell and the Windsong Pavilion, alongside “delicious local food offerings, in a warm and relaxed community atmosphere”. “This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in jazz, groove, contemporary, and classical genres, against a backdrop of lush bushland,” Madison said. Summer program The summer 2024/25 Four Winds performance program includes: Sunday, 24 November 2024 (11am - 4pm) Spring Youth Music Festival 2024 Inspiring the next generation, sharing in sound, song and story Celebrating the talents, aspirations and achievements of young musicians, the Spring Youth Music Festival fosters intergenerational music making, sharing and learning. Saturday, 18 January 2025 (afternoon) Caravana Sun, Sunday Lemonade, and The Dirty Manes A family-friendly picnic and party at the Sound Shell Sydney band Caravana Sun has built a renowned reputation across the globe for dynamic and energetic live performances that merge infectious grooves with elements of explosive rock, euphoric electronica and rambunctious reggae. Also performing will be popular nomadic, rom-com, indie-folk duo Sunday Lemonade, and up-and-coming South Coast outfit The Dirty Manes, who blend indie rock, folk, and country with heartfelt lyrics and catchy melodies. Coinciding with the release of their 20th studio album ‘Bleed’, the trio will be performing “a captivating long-form exploration of sound”. Since their inception as a private jamming project more than 30 years ago, The Necks have become a global phenomenon, captivating audiences with their compelling improvisations and entrancing melodies. Each performance is a journey into the unknown, where the trio embarks on spontaneous explorations, evolving their music into textures that defy description”. (Suitable for all ages.
